Just received word that I will be attending the Pixar Masterclass in Auckland at Media Design School on the 19th of August as part of Semi-Permanent. Pretty damn excited about sitting down and listening to Pixar’s Andrew Gordon talk about animation, breaking down the whole process and discussing what makes a good character animation reel. This isn’t an opportunity that comes around very often so it was something I wasn’t keen on missing out on.

It’ll be 7 hours of awesome and I know I’m likely to learn things that will stay with me throughout my animation career. Fairly exciting stuff. Now to confirm flight times.
